St Ives is a great place to go on holiday with its picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town with blue flag beach, wander through the maze of narrow cobbled street and shops.

But what about as a great place to go sailing as well as great place to live or spend a holiday? Perhaps you looked across the bay and thought what it would be like sailing in our fantastic St Ives Bay, well here is your chance – the local sailing club welcomes everyone. It is a small, friendly club located yards from the historic harbour just behind the Sloop Inn, a perfect water hole for a thirsty sailor after a day’s sailing in the bay.

Jonathan, a member of the club, said: “It is fantastic seeing the marine life in the bay, the seals and dolphins. It is just amazing. You get to see a different view of the bay from the sea. It’s a great experience on a summers day.”

If you do not own a boat St Ives Sailing Club has a number of Club Boats which could be available. The fleet includes x1 Bahia, x2 Fusions, x1 Magno, x2 Picos, x1 Laser.
