Finnish boatbuilder Saxdor Yachts has appointed Hong Kong-based DCH Marine as its new dealer for the Asia-Pacific region.

DCH Marine was formally established by Dah Chong Hong Holdings Limited in June 2014 as a new business unit focused on the luxury yacht market. DCH Marine and Saxdor Yachts are working to establish a service and sales structure together that will operate throughout the region.

DCH Marine says it will be incorporating Saxdor’s existing network and adding new sales and service points within the territory over the coming months, which will time well with Saxdor’s upcoming product release plan for the all-new Saxdor 460 GTC and 320 GTWA.

“This partnership and newly established agreement with DCH Marine accelerates Saxdor Yachts into a new phase of regional growth,” says Erna Rusi, CEO of Saxdor Yachts. “Together with DCH Marine’s experience and, above all, their technical expertise and services standards, we are certain that, as a team, we can satisfy the increasing demands of yachting enthusiasts in the Asia-Pacific region.”

Adam Waters, managing director of DCH Marine, adds: “Our growth at DCH Marine has always been driven by the desire to serve our customers better and to manage the perfect yachting experience seamlessly. Saxdor Yachts share this vision, and with the world-class products currently available and planned, I am tremendously excited to be joining hands with Saxdor on this journey.”

DCH Marine has sales points in Hong Kong, Singapore, China (in Shenzhen and Sanya), Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia (Sydney and Gold Coast) and New Zealand. Later this year, it will open new sales points in Shanghai, Taiwan, the Philippines, Perth and Melbourne, and in 2025, also in Indonesia.

The upcoming Singapore Yachting Festival (running 25-28 April 2024) will be the stage for the official debut of the new distribution agreement, as well as the Australasia launch of the all-new Saxdor 400 GTO.

Saxdor Yachts has grown quickly since 2020, expanding its team from 30 people to more than 500 in just three years. In the same period, revenue increased 15 times. Saxdor, which recently relocated its HQ to Ruoholahti in Helsinki, says it expects to reach €100m in revenue this year.
