SMG is presenting a complete portable Search and Rescue (SAR) LIVE sonar kit at Seawork on Berth VA6.

In collaboration with Small Specialist Craft, the sonar kit will be showcased onboard a new Kontra RotaTech 450RC; a rugged, modular rotamoulded 4.5m trailerable rescue boat.

Combining the latest Garmin Panotpix Live sonar technology with the new Railblaza HEXX Live Pole, giving 360°-degree rotation to follow targets, the new Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 display will provide:

  • Real-time sonar ensuring your live images are accurate.
  • Improved resolution, reduced noise, clearer images and better target separation.
  • Surroundings scanned and presented with sharper images, reduced noise and fewer sonar artifacts.
  • Maximum contrast and clarity in sonar images with vivid colour palettes.
  • Forward, Down and Perspective modes.

All this is powered by the portable, waterproof (IP65), compact and lightweight Rebelcell Outdoorbox battery. This 12V 70Ah 836Wh lithium battery provides sufficient power to run the system all day and allow you to charge your personal devices.
