The official FIFA World Cup mascot, Zabivaka has been spotted on board a Sunseeker yacht taking in the sights of Poole Harbour.

The Russian grey wolf jetted into Dorset last week ahead of the tournament kicking off. He spent the week with Britain’s biggest boat builder, Sunseeker, a Tier One sponsor of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

With a busy month ahead, Zabivaka didn’t miss the opportunity of taking time out of his World Cup duties to get out on the water. He was spotted taking the helm of a Sunseeker yacht as he put his sea legs to the test, navigating his way around Old Harry Rocks and Brownsea Island.

Zabivaka, whose name translates as ‘the one who scores’, made the most of his visit to Sunseeker. He had a tour of the shipyard, met with staff for photos, learnt how to tie boating knots and even hopped in the 76 Yacht’s luxury hot tub for a quick soak to rest his paws before heading back to Russia to officially open the FIFA World Cup on June 14.
