The British Marine Trades Association has announced ticketing details for the British Marine Trades Association Awards dinner for 2023.

This year’s dinner takes place the night before Seawork, on 12 June 2023, at the Grand Café in Southampton.

This event consists of a welcome drink and networking opportunity, entertainment, three-course dinner with wine, and the coveted industry British Marine Trades Association Award presentations.

Tickets are now on sale for £55 + VAT per person and are available individually or as a table of 10 at £550 + VAT. Tickets can be purchased by sending an email to British Marine’s Amy Cox.

British Marine Trades Association was started over 50 years ago specifically to represent the national interest of chandlers, wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers of marine equipment. The association represents some 300 firms and has a management committee, made up of a dozen annually elected volunteers.

The British Marine Trades Association Awards dinner is sponsored by A-Plan Marine Insurance, ASAP Supplies, Barton Marine, Deep Blue Systems, EP Barrus and Marine Resources Recruitment.

Award nominations now open

The popular annual awards are an excellent opportunity to recognise colleagues, clients, and fellow marine industry businesses. BMTA says all nominations, including self-nominating, are welcome.

Nominations are now open for this year’s awards. The categories are:

Business of the Year Award
David Coleman Award for Excellence in Exporting
Marine Personality of the Year

If you would like to recognise a recipient, submit your nomination online. Self-nominations are equally considered.
