When Peter White, owner of successful Seafever International Company and author of numerous boat training books, began training for powerboaters on the south coast back in 1993 he soon discovered that their thirst for knowledge, experience and adventure meant he had the nucleus of a power boat club, and under his chairmanship, Seafever Powerboat Club was born.

Now under the name of Pathfinder Powerboat Club and with over 35 members with boats of all sizes, it’s one of the UK’s most longstanding hobby-based boating clubs. To celebrate this important 20th anniversary the club is holding a dinner and dance on the 10 November 2018 at the prestigious Royal Naval and Royal Albert Yacht Club, Portsmouth, and its organisers would love to see as many of the original members there as possible.

This fun black-tie charity event with honoured guest Peter White (founder of Seafever Powerboat Club ) will include a three-course meal, awards ceremony and anniversary celebration, with entertainment from 7pm to 1am.

Chris Short who is organising the event this year said: “We hope that we can find as many of the former Pathfinder members as is possible to join us. Unfortunately some records have been lost along the way so if you were a member of the club please contact me to join with existing members to celebrate in style at this fantastic annual event.”

Tickets are selling fast and the event is open to club members, friends and families as well as powerboat enthusiasts looking to meet new friends to cruise with, for information and to book, call Chris Short on 07880 702796 or Paul Thompson 07784 940547.
